Abstracts

You are invited to submit an abstract to present a poster at the Atacama Genomes Workshop. Submitting an abstract is mandatory if you intend to request a fellowship to attend the workshop. Abstracts must follow the following format:

TITLE: 20 words maximum

Authors and affiliations

Body: 300 words maximum

Funding.

Fellowships

Students and postdocs are invited to apply for partial travel, registration and lodging fellowships to attend the EMBO Workshop-Atacama Genomes. Please note that we will offer partial reimbursements for travel, lodging and registration upon arrival at the meeting. All travel arrangements must be made prior to travel by the applicant.

Please submit the following:

Letter expressing financial need and interest in the workshop (i.e., how will it benefit your career? how much funds are you requesting?)

Letter from direct supervisor recommending applicant

A brief CV

Title of your presentation (an abstract must be submitted; see above)

Travel details, dates (i.e., origin city, departure date, etc.).

Posters

For those attendants presenting a poster, these should be 90cm wide and a maximum of 120cm long. These should be hung up on the afternoon of Jan 10th and left for the entire Workshop. There will be three poster sessions and presenters should be available at all three. The poster sessions are:
